Highlight of August was definitely our trip to Laguna Beach!
Calvin was so excited to go back! He saved up some money and used all of it in the vending machines the day we got there. Both boys loved the hot tub. Winston had no fear of the ocean and would just run for it whenever we weren't watching. We caught lots of sand crabs and the boys loved playing with them. Win would chase every bird he saw yelling "quack quack" We lived off pizza and donuts, took daily walks to the play ground and toy store, went back and forth from the pool to the beach all day, rented a family bike in Newport on our last day and had the best week ever!
When we landed back in Salt Lake Calvin said "thanks for planning a trip to California mommy" ok ok I guess we will go back next year too!
Winston learned a few new words this month, choo choo, ball and quack quacks are my favorite. He loves his trucker hat- if he sees it he insists on wearing it. He loves reading books and loves popsicles. He is such a happy little dude!
Calvin became such a brave boy this summer. Swims without his floaty, goes off the diving board, rides his bike super fast and went wake surfing with Eric and loved it! He's growing right up!
We're sad to see summer come to an end, but Calvin is so excited for preschool to start next month!
