This past year has been amazing watching little Calvin grow so fast. I have so much fun with him everyday. One of the best parts about being a mom is watching your baby experience things for the first time, everything to them is new and it's so fun to see their reaction. Cal saw a firebug for the first time the other day and was fascinated by it. He kept wanting to touch it and then would get scared it was too cute. When he was opening up his birthday presents he was so excited about the tissue paper, the simplest things make him so happy and that's what I love most about Cal. He is such a good little boy and I seriously can't imagine what Eric and I would do every day with out him.
Here are some updates about our little ONE year old:
He has a new wave and moves his tiny little fingers back and forth
(he even waves good night to Enzo before bed)
He still points at Everything
Claps when he wants more food, claps when he's happy, claps with he's about to take a nap, claps when you say yay! haha he's very into clapping these days
He has 10 teeth, and the bottom 2 molars are just about to cut through
He crawls super fast all over the house
He can climb up the stairs
Loves patty cake and the itsy-bitsy spider
He would play outside all day if we would let him

He's just figuring out how to open the kitchen cupboards (uh-oh!)
Loves to snuggle and gives hugs and kisses
When you ask him what the cow says he makes a sound kind of like a "moo"
When you ask what Enzo says he grunts like a bark and moves his shoulders up and down
He loves to bang on the window when Daddy pulls up in his car
He weighs 21 lbs (24%) and is 31.5 inches tall (92%)
On his birthday we gave him this new car,
he gets so excited every time we take him for a ride in it
We had a birthday party for him on Saturday and invited close friends and family
Calvin is so loved by everyone
He got lots of presents (lawnmower, trike, balls & books to name a few)
Good thing his cousins were there to help him open presents and feed him cake
He started to eat his cake one sprinkle at a time..
but pretty soon Enzo was helping lick the frosting,
cousins were feeding him fingers of frosting and the cake had to be moved outside
He took a sad spill out of his car onto the cement,
but a little road rash wouldn't stop him from having a fun party!
