We started off the month of July with a fun trip to Malad with (most) of the Blodgetts

we celebrated the 4th with a hike to Dog Lake and a party with friends

we celebrated Eric's 26th birthday at the lake with friends

Calvin started walking full time at the beginning of the month

we all love that he can walk now! 

life is just better with him as a walker

Calvin and I spent at least 3 days a week at the pool this month,

the Country Club has become our second home

we spent a fun night in Heber listening to Uncle Willy + Pops play music

Eric and I went to Little bitterroot Lake in Montana

we had such a fun kidless trip with our best friends

Best part of the weekend was getting Eric up on a slalom ski!

Cal got to spend part of the time with Joy and then went to Whits

we definitely missed him more than he missed us!

At the end of the month Calvin and I drove to Ft. Collins 
with Whit and her kids to go visit the Claytons

we paddle boarded, hiked, swam, played games + had so much with the cousins 

Cal is at such a fun & hard stage

he waves and says hi to EVERYONE

(random people at the store, pool, cars, mannequins...)

his vocabulary is growing

he says no, ball and baba all the time

my favorite words he says are bubbles, wow, ants, please + thank you 
he wispers "papa" whenever he sees a big truck or if we are at Lynns

he undertands a lot of what we say to him and always responds

by shaking his head yes or no- it's not always the right response

but it sure is funny!
