August 2015

August was such a fun month! We are not ready for summer to be over

we got to go to one of my favorite places this month..

BEAR LAKE!!!

we boated all day every day

biked to Le'Beaus for raspberry shakes every night

played on the beach

played with the cousins

(we went with all the Blodgetts and Bradleys so there was quite a crew)

we had so much fun!

Saturdays are by far Cal's favorite day of the week 

because we get to play with Eric all day! 

we checked out the Aviary at Liberty Park 

Cal's favorite part was chasing after the peacock 

went on some fun rides

and played in the water park 

Calvin is such a little fish
we went swimming a ton this month

we decided it was time for a real (big boy) hair cut for Cal

it took a sucker, sitting in a car + watching Mickey but he let the girl cut his hair

the sides are so short, I miss his long hair!!

(Cal how old are you? 1!)

We spent a fun day up at my grandparents cabin in Oakley

Cal loved throwing rocks in the river and running around with the cousins

he and Chloe are quite the duo...
they love each other but always want what the other one has!

we played 9 holes with the Datos at Bonneville one night

Calvin loved riding in the golf cart + stealing everyones balls! 

Calvins vocabulary grows each day

this month he started saying lawnmower and tractor along with a lot of other words

today at lunch he started to say nuts (they are his favorite right now)

He's been quite moody lately- so happy and then super grumpy and frustrated

I try to keep calm with him but sometimes it's hard! 

he loves to run all over the place when we are outside

he loves to kick balls around, read books and play in any kind of water
