December is so magical with kids!
We did a lot of fun things this month and here are a few of my favorite parts:
Snowy walks up Millcreek
Calvin loves the snow and literally will just roll around in it.
Christmas Street
Lights at the Temple
Windows at The Grand America (the candy shop was Cal's favorite part of that)
We watched our fair share of Christmas movies
Ate our fair share of peppermint ice cream
The look on Calvin's face every morning when he would find Elfie
The boys sitting on Santa's lap
A snowy day in Malad
Calvin and Pops singing Jingle Bells by the fire in Downey
Having Eric home the week leading up to Christmas was the best present ever!
Both boys slept in on Christmas morning and we woke up to a foot a snow,
couldn't have asked for a better morning!
Cal opened up every present under the tree for us and we spent lots of time playing with each present before moving onto the next.
Calvin got "that remote control car" he had been asking for but I think his favorite present ended up being a little fishing game.
Winston just loved all the wrapping paper and bows!
We spent the afternoon at Lynn's and the evening with my family.
It was the best Christmas yet!

8 months is such a fun age!
Win is so happy and easy going.. until I try to leave his sight.
He has some serious separation anxiety lately!
He has his 2 bottom teeth,
Cheerios and avocados + cottage cheese are his favorites,
he loves drinking water out of sippy cups,
and he has the dreamiest eyes.
We completely got rid of the swaddle and he's an ok napper and good sleeper with out it!
He started army crawling on Christmas eve and he's always on the move.
He loves saying "dada dada da"

When he would cruise around the floor this month I would either find him under the tree pulling off pine needles or on Enzo's dog bed.
(We spent NYE in Midway at Emily and Andy's cabin)
Every day this month Calvin would sing Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph at least 50 times, not even kidding. He would wake up singing Jingle Bells to me.. gosh I love him!
Cal got to go see 2 movies at the theater this month, Trolls and Muana
(I still think his favorite part is the popcorn)
He also got to have a sleep over at Nana's- he is doing all these big boy things lately!
Cutest thing I heard him say "Junior is my best friend in the whole world"
so glad he has cute little friends!
He called Winston "sweetheart" and I about melted.
If I have to hear "Mommy where are we?" one more time I might die, he asks this all day long lately even when we are in the kitchen or just sitting on the couch!
2016 was the best (and hardest) year yet!
2 boys is a lot to handle with Eric being in school,
but luckily they are the cutest little guys and make us so happy!
