we spent New Years in Malad with some of the Blodgetts
even thought it didn't get above 10 degrees Cal wanted to play outside all day
he loves the snow!
we snowmobiled
flew the drones a lot
& got to go for a helicopter ride
helicopters, drones + snowmobiles top Cal's list of favorites at the moment..
so it was a pretty good weekend!
It snowed so much this January
Calvin begged to play outside every day
so we would bundle up and go play in the snow or go for a walk
i've been letting him walk around the block and he loves it...
it takes so long because he stops at every house to pick up sticks, eat snow
and walk up neighbor's stairs but it keeps him happy!
Calvin is getting so big + acting so old, I can't stand it!
he likes to do everything "self"
(from climbing out of the tub to brushing his teeth)
he has started talking in sentences
"mama feed you" - when he wants me to feed him
"mama sledding me"
"daddy no work"
he talks so much and cracks us up
i'm afraid his terrible 2's have already begun..
radom things set him off and his tantrums are awful!
Since he can talk and tell you what's wrong its annoying when he's having a tantrum and won't tell you what he wants!
one of our favorite things Cal has started doing this month is his hot noodle face
he does it on command.. and also when his noodles are hot
i asked him what his favorite food was the other day and his response was candy..
not surprising!
lately he loves escalators and elevators
his favorite toys at the moment are his woody dolls and helicopter
he is still attached to his "B" binky
Cal asks to watch Nemo at least once every day..
(i try not to give in everyday)
We talk about baby brother a lot
he likes to give him kisses and shares his B with my belly button haha
when you ask Cal what we should name baby he says
"I like Max"
I'm soaking up all of my one on one time with Cal because I know it's coming to an end!
