We're having a baby BOY in April!
these 2 aren't so sure about adding another boy to the family...
Calvin says no every time I asked if he wants a little brother
it might take some adjusting but they are going to be best friends!
Enzo might actually be relieved once the baby comes..
then Cal will have someone new to pick on
even though Cal yells "no Enzo" countless times a day
he really does love his dog so much
we had Lynn take some pictures for us
it snowed the day before so Silver Lake was so pretty!
goodness I love my little family so much!!
Eric and I got to go to Europe for 10 days this
month with Lynn and most of the other Blodgett siblings
we flew straight to Paris
we shopped and ate some really yummy food that first afternoon in Paris
our first night we were all way tired but we decided to walk to the Arc de Triomphe
which was a short walk down Champs-Élysées from our hotel
we climbed the 284 steps to the top of the Arc
and had the most amazing view of the Eiffel Tower
we all went to bed early and had big plans for Paris the next couple of days...
which were cut short because there were some major
terrorist attacks that night near our hotel!
so we headed to Normadie the next morning
and stayed in this beautiful chateau
with an a amazing view of the beach
we drove to Omaha beach + Auderville
the French countryside was absolutely beautiful!
It was like nothing I had ever seen before and I think it was my favorite part of the trip
after a couple days in Normandie we took the Chunnel to London to meet the rest of the family who couldn't get into France
we did a lot of sight seeing that first night
London Eye
Big Ben
we spent way too much time at Harrods
ate way too many macaroons + chocolate croissants
did a lot of shopping and walked the rainy streets of London
we fell in love with London
Next stop: Scotland
we flew in to Edinburgh and stayed in North Berwick
we stayed in Fenton Tower
which was a legit old castle
it was so cool!
had way too much fun with these sisters!
we spent our last afternoon in Edinburgh
and it did not disappoint!
the buildings and architecture were like none other
After being gone for a week I was ready to go home to Calvin
I missed him so much!
We are so lucky to have family close by that watched him while we were gone-
I don't think he even missed us!
We are also lucky to have a family that loves to travel
what a great trip!
we spent Thanksgiving at the Haywire
we drove up in a white out
and woke up to a foot of snow!
the snow made for a Thanksgiving we won't forget
sledding, tractor and horse rides, delicious food and fun times with the cousins!
We are so happy the holidays are here!
